Athenian Rhapsody\u00a0<\/strong>is a fresh comedic\u00a0RPG<\/strong>\u00a0game in which you’ll\u00a0explore the World of Athens!<\/strong>\u00a0Your goal is to\u00a0build your very own Rhapsody,<\/strong>\u00a0the story of you (the player) and your\u00a0epic tale<\/strong>\u00a0in this world. Your story will unfold\u00a0based on your decisions<\/strong>, to the degree of which\u00a0cannot be replicated<\/strong>\u00a0by any other player.<\/p>\n

ARhap is a\u00a0turn based RPG<\/strong>\u00a0which includes\u00a0intense and fast paced real-time-dodging<\/strong>. You’ll be faced with\u00a0many challenges<\/strong>, and you’ll have to fight your way through the world by either\u00a0fighting, or awkwardly trying to make friends with your opponents<\/strong>\u00a0through pick-up-lines, mean jokes, memory games, and other strange and funny interactions.<\/p>\n

  • 16 Potential party members for you to interact with!<\/u><\/strong>\u00a0– Each of these characters has a\u00a0bold personality<\/strong>, and a\u00a0large amount of depth<\/strong>\u00a0for you to discover. You can\u00a0choose to adventure with whoever you’d like!<\/strong>\u00a0There truly is a favorite for everyone to bond with, I promise.<\/li>\n
  • Tons of enemies for you to FIGHT or BEFRIEND!<\/u><\/strong>\u00a0– This world has no shortage of\u00a0intense battles<\/strong>\u00a0with opponents that range from weird, wacky, tough, cute, and outright goofy!<\/li>\n
  • Varying battle mechanics to always keep the action fresh!<\/u><\/strong>\u00a0– Many characters will switch up the tactics of battle, you’ll be faced with\u00a0various minigames based on the scenario<\/strong>\u00a0you find yourself in.<\/li>\n
  • Absolutely hilarious.<\/u><\/strong>\u00a0– This game is\u00a0fast paced, action packed, and full of zany and ironic humor<\/strong>\u00a0that anyone can have a nice laugh at.<\/li>\n
  • Lots of rabbit holes, secrets, and suspicious endeavors!<\/u><\/strong>\u00a0– You will\u00a0NOT<\/strong>\u00a0run out of things to do. If you do, you probably\u00a0haven’t seen the sunlight<\/strong>\u00a0in quite some time!<\/li>\n
  • Choose your own adventure!\u00a0<\/u><\/strong>– Nothing substantial in this game is up to RNG. You choose your pathway from start to finish, creating an extremely specific pathway which will then be recorded into your playthrough’s Rhapsody!<\/li>\n
  • Vigorous mental challenges, and intense puzzles!<\/strong><\/u>\u00a0– You may face mind-bendingly difficult challenges such as “Spell Richard” and “Feather Carry” throughout your Rhapsody. Would you dare come face to face with the infamous 3×3 slide puzzle?<\/li>\n
  • Last but not least…\u00a0An Online Social System and Event System!<\/strong><\/u>\u00a0– You’ll be able to share Rhapsodies between your friends. Share, combine, read through, and maybe even delete your friend’s Rhapsodies! Timed events will be coming out after the game’s release, so that you’ll have the chance to continue your Rhapsodies. More on this later…<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

    Throughout each playthrough,\u00a0every decision, action, and event that takes place is recorded into your Rhapsody<\/strong>! Athenian Rhapsody holds so much variability that no two adventures will ever be the same, making each Rhapsody truly unique! The information contained in a Rhapsody ranges from\u00a0each character you’ve interacted with<\/strong>\u00a0as well as\u00a0how many times your protagonist has farted.<\/strong><\/p>\n

    Each time you complete a playthrough, you’ll\u00a0receive a Rhapsody<\/strong>. Each Rhapsody acts as a way to\u00a0take something tangible<\/strong>\u00a0from your experience with your playthrough, and hold onto it forever. There are even\u00a0ways to create new Rhapsodies by combining them,<\/strong>\u00a0to multiply their complexity and create something\u00a0absolutely insane<\/strong>!<\/p>\n

    You’ll be able to\u00a0use these Rhapsodies in various ways<\/strong>\u00a0such as\u00a0socializing with friends, accessing special timed in-game event adventures,<\/strong>\u00a0and maybe even something outside of the game one day. Who knows!\u00a0The sky is the limit<\/strong>!<\/p>\n

    Well, it might\u00a0not<\/strong>\u00a0be the absolute coolest ever, but it’s definitely a game! Maybe even\u00a0the game ever<\/strong>!<\/p>\n

    There’s no dearth of adventures for any player, no matter what your play style is. Whether you prefer\u00a0intense battles<\/strong>,\u00a0rich dialogue<\/strong>,\u00a0hunting for secrets<\/strong>, or\u00a0aiming for completionism<\/strong>, you’re sure to have a blast in Athens.<\/p>\n

    The ultimate goal of Athenian Rhapsody is to provide a real, impactful experience for everyone who plays it. There’s something for everyone and I hope that every player can relate to their story somehow, and maybe even reflect on their own lives. Remember to have fun, it’s a game!<\/p>\n
